Mount Zion Matric Higher Secondary School

Mount Zion Matriculation Higher Secondary School was established in June 1988 with the sole aim of providing quality education to the children in and around Pudukkottai.

In due course our school has come to be recognised as a very different school in terms of quality of education, discipline, emphasis on moral education, etc. The various curricular and co-curricular activities are selected and organised to aid in the harmonious development of the Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual faculties of the pupils, thus setting Mount Zion apart from other schools.

Our Management

The school functions under the daily supervision, guidance and administration of the Correspondent Mr. Jayabarathan Chelliah who holds a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Loma Linda University, California, U.S.A. He has more than 30 years of service as the head of reputed English medium schools. In recognition of his contribution to the cause of education the Government of Tamil Nadu has awarded him the Dr. Radhakrishnan Award. The Mount Zion Christian Educational Trust also has educationists whose decades of experience and expertise in the field of education will make learning a joy for your children.

Library

The library acts as an important resource centre for all students with books ranging from reference books, subject related books as well as classics and bestsellers.

Laboratories

Our Laboratories enable students to achieve a deeper understanding of concepts taught in the classroom by demonstrating to them applications and processes based on these concepts.

Sports

The school provides excellent Sports facilities with special coaching facilities for Badminton, Shuttle cock, Tennis, Table tennis, Volleyball, Basketball, Football, Handball, carrom, chess and Cricket.
